Product Pipeline

BiPar Sciences lead product candidate is BSI-201, a tumor-selective drug that targets and inhibits the activity of PARP, or poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase, a key enzyme in DNA repair and cell proliferation proliferation. BSI-201 has the potential to be an important new treatment across a range of tumor types.

Metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC) is the lead indication for BSI-201: A Phase 3 study in mTNBC was initiated in July 2009. BSI-201 is also being evaluated in multiple Phase 2 clinical trials in ovarian, uterine, lung, and other solid tumors.

BiPar Sciences plans to expand the development of BSI-201 in combination with various chemotherapies and other accepted treatment regimens for several types of cancer.

BiPar Sciences broader portfolio of cancer therapies includes the product candidates BSI-302, an anti-tubulin agent, and BSI-401, a PARP inhibitor.
